The LaTeX tocloft package

The tocloft package provides a method for changing the appearance of entries in the table of contents, list of figures, and list of tables. The package can also be used to create new "List of" pages.

Package commands inserted in the preamble control the formatting, including fonts, spacing, and dot leaders, used for part, chapter, section, and subsection entries in the table of contents. Commands also control entries in the list of figures and list of tables, and determine whether the lists begin on new pages. See the package documentation for detailed information.

Several package options are also available through the Options and Packages command on the Typeset menu. You can use default LaTeX formatting and also select an option required when the tocloft package is used with the subfigure package.

Tocloft is compatible with the tocbibind package, but doesn't work for documents created with Style Editor shells.

The package is installed in the TCITeX/TeX/LaTeX/contrib/tocloft directory.
