Using minimal CD installation, saving with Portable LaTeX filter causes a program crash

Problem

When Version 3.0 is installed with the minimal CD installation option, saving a new document as a Portable LaTeX file causes the program to crash.

Explanation

The installation process failed to copy two files from the CD to the local swp30 or sw30 directory.

Solution

Follow these steps to copy the necessary files:

1. Insert the Version 3.0 CD into the CD drive.

2. Search the SWP30 or SW30 directory on the CD to find the files named latex.dat and latex2.dat.

3. Copy the two files to your local swp30 or sw30 directory.
