Document 275 CTRL+click on a jump to an equation doesn't work quite rightVersion: 3.x - Scientific WorkPlace & Scientific Word ProblemHolding down the CTRL key and clicking on an equation cross-reference moves the focus to a point right below the marker, rather than moving it exactly to the marker for the equation. This often leaves the equation off the screen. ExplanationThis happens because the program moves to the immediate right of the object containing the marker. Thus, when a displayed equation occurs in the middle of a paragraph, a jump to the equation moves to the next line after the equation. When a displayed equation ends a paragraph, a jump to the equation moves to the right of the equation, just as you expect. In other words, the problem doesn't occur. SolutionUnfortunately, we can't offer a workaround. Revised 06/11/02 This document was created with Scientific WorkPlace. |
