How to change the caption font and size for a floating object

Version: 3.x, 4.x, 5.x - Scientific WorkPlace & Scientific Word

If your document contains floating graphics and tables, you can use caption package to change the font and size of the caption text:

  1. Add the caption package to your document.
  2. On the Typeset toolbar, click the Options and Packages button Options and Packages button or, from the Typeset menu, choose Options and Packages.
  3. Choose the Package Options tab.
  4. In the Packages in Use box, select caption, and then choose Modify.
  5. In the Category box, choose Caption font size.
  6. In the Option box, select the size you want: script, footnote, small, normal, large, or Large.
  7. In the Category box, choose Caption label attribute.
  8. In the Option box, choose the attribute you want: Upright, Italic, Slanted, Small Caps, medium, Bold, Roman, Sans Serif, or Typewriter.
  9. Choose OK twice to return to your document.
