How to change the caption font and size for a floating object

If your document contains floating graphics and tables, you can use
caption package to change the font and size of the caption text:
- Add the caption package to your document.
- On the Typeset toolbar, click the Options and Packages button
or, from the
Typeset menu, choose
Options and Packages.
- Choose the Package Options tab.
- In the Packages in Use box, select
caption, and then choose
Modify.
- In the Category box, choose
Caption font size.
- In the Option box, select the size you want:
script, footnote, small, normal, large, or Large.
- In the Category box, choose
Caption label attribute.
- In the Option box, choose the attribute you
want: Upright, Italic, Slanted, Small Caps, medium, Bold, Roman, Sans Serif,
or Typewriter.
- Choose OK twice to return to your document.
